Collages and iPad Paintings
I’ve been making daily (or almost daily) collages on paper and uploading them to social media since January 2017. I have exhibited them twice in galleries.
In March of 2020 I was going to travel to France and bought an iPad to take with me instead of a computer. Then the pandemic hit, the trip was cancelled, and you know the rest.
So I found myself in lockdown with a new tablet. I’ve continued my practice on the iPad, uploading each “painting” as I go along. You will notice a great variety of styles and digital tools in this selection of 75 works. Rather than searching to settle on one thing, I explore with the tools available, and constantly find new freedoms inside the restrictions. That is the point.
